I need another tv so I can system link some xbox 360's, but I was hoping to just use my pc monitor somehow. I assume I will need to use some sort of converter box, but I also need the extra cable slots for my xbox. Any help is appreciated.
You need a special Xbox 360 cable I believe. I don't think it is that expensive. Then just follow one of the many guides out there to get set up. May take a while, may not. Depends how good you are at these things!
You can use an XBox 360 HDAV VGA cable to connect it to a monitor:

Some people have complained that the cheaper 3rd-party cable might be poorly-shielded so there is some image ghosting, so caveat emptor.
