can someone plz tell me some facts about Highwayman like who are they?, what did they do?, and whatdid they look like
in the USA, for the most part, they were disenfranchized southern solders after the civil war. Examples would be Jesse James, the Younger brothers, Billy the Kidd.
They were like modern day muggers but they operated from horseback, robbing travellers on the highway rather than pedestrians in the city. Most commonly, this was an English term. Couldn't tell you what they looked like. That would have depended on all kinds of things.
