Same game, new kinds of treachery. What act are we in now? Did I miss intermission?? Damn, I really need a refill and a pee. And remind me again, Who are the good guys and who are the bad guys??
Rahm and Axelrod are taking turns shoving their hands up Barry's sock hole. It wont be too long before he is discovered as the old muppet sittin on a shelf that they call "new" yet is just repackaged.

There is one part of me... an American citizen for all of 45 years, that has had the 'American Dream' mantra ingrained into me, and indoctrinated to believe all that phrase implies, that believes (and hopes) that Obama is indeed different and has something better to offer than 'politics as usual'. It's that conditioning that compels me to vote at all. To believe that I still have a voice and some power in my life. And believes that someone can still make a difference for this country.
Then there is the other part. A relatively new part that has started seeing things that don't fit and wondering why. Asking questions and knowing that something just isn't what it ought to be. It's this part of me that kept me from being too excited when he won, even tho I voted for him. This part of me wonders if he will be a different messenger with the same message, or maybe a whole new nightmare, but I hope I'm only being nervous because of the last 7 years. You know? Kind of like a jilted lover that's afraid to jump into a new relationship? So here's Obama promising great new things. And I really want to believe, but I just can't. Does that mean he is the same as all the rest? Maybe, maybe not. But my senses have been so battered during the last 7 years I don't know if I could see the truth if it walked up and bit me. Really.
