i don't need technical details about "lossless" files or "75fps". i just want to know how to successfully burn a continuous dj mix with cd track markers from a clean single WAV file and NO gaps between songs. WHAT IS THE SOFTWARE AND WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE STEP BY STEP?? i have tried quantizing, indexes, cd tracks, markers, splits in CD Architect, Burrrn, iTunes and Nero Burning ROM and none of them will produce a CD that plays continuously in my car without a gap between the songs. They did produce a CD that would playback continuously on my portable CD player so I'm a little confused here. Since other continuous mix CDs play fine in my car, surely somebody knows how to do this?? Please help.
In Pyro and Roxio you can specify zero and negative numbers for the gaps between tracks. Roxio seems to be a little better at this.
But the problem you describe sounds like a format difference. Are you creating CDs in MP3 format or in CD format? I would think that MP3 discs are less smooth in their transitions. A CD Music disc should be smoother.
