  • i don't need technical details about "lossless" files or "75fps". i just want to know how to successfully burn a continuous dj mix with cd track markers from a clean single WAV file and NO gaps between songs. WHAT IS THE SOFTWARE AND WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE STEP BY STEP?? i have tried quantizing, indexes, cd tracks, markers, splits in CD Architect, Burrrn, iTunes and Nero Burning ROM and none of them will produce a CD that plays continuously in my car without a gap between the songs. They did produce a CD that would playback continuously on my portable CD player so I'm a little confused here. Since other continuous mix CDs play fine in my car, surely somebody knows how to do this?? Please help.

  • In Pyro and Roxio you can specify zero and negative numbers for the gaps between tracks. Roxio seems to be a little better at this.

But the problem you describe sounds like a format difference. Are you creating CDs in MP3 format or in CD format? I would think that MP3 discs are less smooth in their transitions. A CD Music disc should be smoother.
