What are the chances of a blood pregnancy test being false neg? I had a neg blood test 3 days after I missed my period could it have been wrong? Also what is the time frame after a missed period before a doctor will see you? Also every pregnancy test I have taken at home came up neg.

The chances of the pregency test being negative is about 5% but there is still a chance.

I took a cvs test last nite and it came back with a faint line but idk cuz it was with the blue dye ...u know it could be evap line...

Something other than pregnancy is causing your missed period. Sorry.
If I was you, i'd call my dr and discuss what is going on with them and ask when THEY want to see you. What is the point of asking here !
Why on earth would you do a blood test after only 3 days ? you should wait at least a week I thought.
If every pregnancy test is coming out negative, then guess what.

You are supposed to wait five days after your missed period.
Normally HCG blood tests aren't wrong. If you are 3 days late and still negative maybe your just late. But I have heard that some people go weeks into their pregnancy and their hormone level is so low that the blood test does not pick it up.
i can only say you're not pregnant.. sorry.. something else is causing your missed period such as stress maybe.
Yes, blood tests can be wrong. My good friend had a blood test a week after her missed period and it came back negative and then a few days later she FINALLY got her first positive pregnancy test back on a fluke and it's definitely been confirmed by the clinic that's she pregnant and has seen her baby on ultrasound. So, yes it IS possible.
Sometimes it takes a little longer for some women to have the hcg show up in their urine you may be one of those people.
Check your temperature right now and if it's between 97.7-99.0 then I'd say it's almost certain you have to be. . . it would have already decreased by now if you were not.
Babe i'd retest in a few more days if you AF still hasn't come. i;m not sure about the blood test thing but i know that you can get falsenegatives on urines test as most the time testing a day or two after you missed period means sometimes there isn't enough hcg hormones to detect. Keep postive and if your not preg theres always next month. <3 xx
if u definitely want to know if ur carrying, please go for a "Serum Beta blood test" which will definitely give u the right result... please ensure u go for one early in the morning before breakfast, for accurate results... it can be done anytime in the day though...!!! This test can give results from the 5 day of the missed period time...or from the 15th day from the time u last connected with ur husband, after 10 days from ur last period cycle!!!
