Dashboard update mistake (error 21)

-boot on stock hdd
-run configmagic off dvd
-switch hdd's
-unlock the messed up hdd with configmagic
-will I then be able to run an ftp server off dvd, and if so what's the best way of doing this?
-copy over pblmetoo files

Softmodded xboxes: Try to run the gamesave exploit you used when modding your xbox. If this exploit does not allow you to gain access to your HDD, then you'll need to do the following:
Hotswapping your IDE drive... (because nobody likes to do this part....)
-Grab your now F*cked xbox and a hardmodded xbox (preferrably xecuter)
-Open up the cases and take hard disk out of Hardmodded box. (You really won't need it.) Have other xbox HDD readily accessible to rip out IDE cable.
-boot xbox and wait for it to unlock. (Generally around the time the bubble starts to go all flubbery, if you know what I mean. This part can take a while to get down. I've done this many times on my xboxes, so don't give me crap about it not working)
-Rip out IDE cable once unlocked and quickly plug in IDE cable from the Hardmodded xbox. Once done, QUICKLY boot to your bios. You can FTP your way into your xbox hard disk now, and fix what you have done.
Option 2:
-Go to EB Games
-Buy a new xbox for $60 USD
(Really, I'm not sure about any other options. I've never messed with Xbox Hard Drive Makers, or configmagic for that matter, so I can't tell you if it'd work or not. I assume not. [FOR THE SAKE OF BREAKING YOUR BOX FURTHER, DO NOT ATTEMPT IT UNLESS OTHERWISE PROVEN TO WORK])
